The Carolina Chapter of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society is located in central North Carolina. Founded in 1992, the chapter counts about 60-80 human factors professionals and students as its members. Represented companies and organizations include IBM, North Carolina State University, HumanCentric, Lenovo, SAS, Methodist College, and Duke University. Each year, we strive for four presentation meetings or tours, a few minor get-togethers and two major social events. Talks and tours in the recent years have covered Human Factors/Ergonomics topics in industry, the military and academia, as well as invited lectures by well respected experts in our profession. Major social events typically include an annual cookout in the summer and a holiday party in December.

For more information about the Chapter, please email any of the officers listed below. If you would like to join, please go to our membership page.
